A Shining Star Gone Too Soon
Tari Sams Tracy was a proud Coventry Local Schools graduate and a standout athlete during her time there. Serving and supporting community organizations and individuals in need was important to her.
When colon cancer cruelly took her in 2021, her family vowed to follow her example of supporting causes that touched her heart. A registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization was established by her siblings in Tari’s memory for that purpose.
TST Foundation Impact: Little Things Mean a Lot
Hygiene items like a bottle of shampoo and conditioner, toothbrush and toothpaste, hand soap and bar soap, deodorant, a change of clothes or a new wardrobe including undergarments, shoes, and coats, a new bike for transportation to school and work, funds toward unpaid expenses during a family crisis, a Christmas party for area nursing home residents; these seem like small things to many of us. But, if you don’t have the resources, they become huge obstacles to feeling good and achieving your best.
Friends of the TST Foundation are on a mission to fill gaps like these with meaningful outreach, like Comet Care Closet, Hygiene Bags, Community Benevolence and support for Coventry High School girls’ sports programs.
